July 2003 :

It's been aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaages (10 months) since I updated this. oops. Anyway... more changes on the car front 8)

First, Andrea's new car. We finally got the opportunity to buy the car Andy really really wants: an R34 25GTt coupe. She only picked it up yesterday, and it's stock as a rock. Already can tell though, that it's very strong - not that far off mine, really - and just imagining what it'll be like with a freer exhaust on it. Yum 8)

And as for the Great Silver Whale - aka my silver GTS25t coupe - I now have new wheels: 17x8 Avanti Tempests in shadow-chrome, shod with 235/45 Toyo T1s Proxes. I also have the Bilsteins we stripped out of Andy's car (though they were only on the rear, so I now have to get a pair for the front), and a pair of R32 GTR seats. Oooooooooooooooooooooh gotta love those seats. Firmer, more supportive, better driving position, more head-room..... They're awesome; and they match the interior trim perfectly, which is a pleasant surprise.

For new visitors, I am Raf 8) and this is my website. I live in West Auckland, in New Zealand, with my beautiful wife Andrea, and three terrible cats. We spend far too much of our time obsessed with performance cars, ever since I got my first Skyline: a 1989 R32 GTS sedan. Then Andrea got a 1995 Mitsubishi FTO GPX, then I got a new Skyline: a 1996 series 2 R33 GTS25t. Andrea then decided she wanted an R34. As an interim measure we got her another series 2 R33 GTS25t coupe - hers had tints and big wheels and a nice stereo 8) Now we've traded that one in and she has the R34 25GTt coupe. Daaaaaamn nice car 8)
